In 2015, Indigo Invest acquired a site in Stuttgart Fasanenhof, near to Stuttgart international airport. The area has convenient access to the motorway and underground train connections. The city railway (U6) stops only some steps away from the building and takes not more than 15 minutes directly to Stuttgart main station. The area will be sustainably enhanced even further thanks to the expansion of the city railway U6 to the airport (planned completion 2019) and to the planned new ICE railway station (Filderstadt) as part of the Stuttgart 21 project. There are restaurants as well as daily life shops and even a nature protection area in direct neighborhood.
The development is planned to have a modern campus style, including many green spaces and a premium atmosphere. It will consist of two office buildings with a total of 16,000 sqm and a parking garage with a total of more than 300 parking spaces. The completion of the first phase, with 9,500 sqm and the parking garage is at the end of 2018.
The representative new buildings will be constructed using the latest state-of-the-art technology and sustainability techniques, with the objective of ensuring DGNB green building certification. The prospective tenants of the campus will be provided with functional and aesthetically pleasing architecture, high quality materials and intelligent building features, creating a comfortable work environment.
Highlights of the fit out specification include floor to ceiling triple-glazed windows, ceiling heights of approximately 3 meters, underfloor power and data solutions and integrated cooling & heating function.
