Gesamtschule Wasseramselweg Cologne

Indigo Invest, in partnership with a local partner, participated in a public bidding process and was awarded the contract to build a comprehensive school in the Vogelsang district of Cologne. The project was completed on schedule and handed over to the client, the City of Cologne, in May 2024.

The six-track school has capacity for about 1,300 students. The architectural design emphasizes an open learning environment with separate building sections connected by green courtyards. Facilities include an auditorium, a library, a cafeteria, and a modern multi-purpose sports hall with bleachers.

The project stands out for its high sustainability standards and is set to receive the DGNB Platinum Certificate for its energy-efficient construction.
