Gesamtschule Wasseramselweg Cologne

Indigo Invest took part in a public procurement procedure with a local partner and was awarded the contract for the construction of a comprehensive school in the Vogelsang district of Cologne. The development was completed on time and handed over to the user, the City of Cologne, in May 2024.

The six-form entry school has space for around 1,300 pupils. The architectural design is based on an open learning environment with individual building sections connected by green courtyards. Facilities include an assembly hall, library, canteen and a modern multi-sports hall with grandstand.

The project impresses with its high sustainability standards and is to be awarded the DGNB platinum certificate for its energy-efficient construction.
