Campus am Kunstpalast Düsseldorf
In 2017 Indigo Invest had the opportunity to secure a special property in Düsseldorf with a partner. The office building, built by famous architect Oswald Mathias Ungers, currently comprises roughly 21,400 m² of quality office space with its own underground car park. The building was erected in 2001 as the head office of energy supplier E.ON. A high degree of structural design and architectural quality was employed in the construction of the building.
The building is located in the inner city, surrounded by three top-tier cultural institutions: Museum Kunstpalast, NRW-Forum and Tonhalle. It has excellent public transport, Autobahn and airport links.
Following the departure of former tenant Uniper, the entire building was newly leased to the Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture, Natural and Consumer Protection of the State of North-Rhine Westphalia as part of a long-term lease agreement. The handover to the new tenant took place on schedule in mid-2021. The building was sold in the same year to a large institutional investor based in Germany.
