At the end of 2012 Indigo Invest acquired a portfolio of 16 retail properties through a newly formed joint venture. The portfolio consists of hypermarkets, retail parks, supermarkets or DIY Stores comprising more than 140,000 lettable square meters. Key tenants include the largest German retailers such as REWE Group, Edeka and Schwarz-Group.
In mid-2015, The Portfolio was sold to Pramerica through a share deal. Within the holding period the average lease term of around 3 years has been increased to more than 10 years. Furthermore substantial capex and tenant improvements have been invested in the properties.
